Love this article, having the right mind set is the secret to a happy, healthy life because your thoughts create your experiences in your life, an easy way to change your mind set is to say and write affirmations every day and your mind will get used to only thinking in a positive way. For example my daily affirmation is I’m young intelligent and successful instead of thinking I’m too old to learn and that’s how you shift your mind set from negative to positive and you are never too old to learn the secret to learning is finding your preferred way of learning for example I’m an auditorial person so I enjoy learning by listening to speakers and attending seminars or listening to audio cd’s, I remember my old boss used to say at every meeting why aren’t you taking notes but I didn’t have to because I was listening and taking all the learning……Great website David.

Thanks Clair, interesting to hear your comments and your method of saying and writing affirmations. I definitely agree that positive affirmations, visited daily do reinforce what you are trying to achieve. As you are an auditory person then saying them, and really listening and absorbing you message as you say them is very powerful. Can I suggest you also might try meditating for a few minutes daily and once your mind has settled, just saying them in your head without actually speaking. Your mind and spirit will “hear them” loud and clear.
And you are correct in saying you are never too old to learn something new. The brain thrives on exercise just as the body does, so after an hour of learning new stuff, your brain will be feeling great. Good luck and thanks for your comments re website
      Regards David
